Artisan Crafts / Needlework / Cross Stitch & Embroidery

So I've recently gotten back into embroidery, and have been making many things with it. What I do is embroider a character or something on a piece of fabric and then make it into a pillow with other fabrics. I'd have uploaded pictures of them (And will in the future) but the one I did complete is a gift for someone. I just completed it recently too. But you'll see it eventually, have no fear! I'll also be selling them on Etsy eventually.
I'm super excited about these...you have NO idea.
But I've had to collect basic colors and some specific ones for my different projects and this is what I've come up with...I've probably spent like, 20 dollars on floss and this is what I have! I feel so bad for the poor women at the checkout who have to scan EVERY SINGE one of these...it's such monotonous work. But I thank you!

sure thing! I'd LOVE to do a commission for you! however, I think that it's probably going to be more on the expensive side because usually if there are two people on the pillow, the picture is much more complicated. But, we'll see what you come up with

So, first step I believe, is for you to choose your picture you would like me to use. (seeing as how you've already chosen your topic!)
Let me know when you do that, no rush of course, and I'll get started working on it. We can figure out things like colors, size, etc. once you have the picture.

hahahh thanks! and it's gonna be a while unfortunately, because I've made two already...but they're gifts for people who have deviantART accounts. And I'm working on a third one but it's also a gift for someone on deviantART.
However, after that I'll be making really popular characters into them and such and will allow for custom orders. I'm gonna set up an Etsy shop.

My sister works at Michaels Craft store. When she was a cashier they'd have to do every single piece. Now she's a jewelry instructor

We have an assload of felt and embroidery thread that I used when I made those felt cookies and stuff. I don't have that rainbow assortment though. Jealous of your stash XD

You should see when my sis has to buy jewelry supplies....

Just standing there watching the cashier ring up each piece when there's a long line behind just kinda gets embarrassing, but then everyone has a big cart of stuff.

Which reminds me that I need to get matting and picture frames...
